Volunteering
The eCom Scotland team were delighted to support the event by volunteering. Shona and Emma assisted in the celebration area and had a fantastic day congratulating all the participants, hearing their motivation for taking part in the event and their stories of triumph.
Emma said "It was so rewarding being able to give my time for such a great cause. Through my work with eCom, I have been privileged to work on some key eLearning courses and initiatives for SAMH, so I was more than happy to give back and help out at this really worthwhile event."
Raising awareness
Raising awareness of the importance of physical exercise and mental health is a key initiative for SAMH. eCom were delighted to assist SAMH with this, by creating two courses of mental health awareness eLearning and supporting digital delivery of these as part of SAMH’s ALBA project.
