A Catalyst for Improving Productivity
With over 20 years’ experience eCom Scotland is the most established eLearning provider in Scotland and we’re proud to champion digital learning as a catalyst for improving productivity. Our eLearning helps clients to develop the skills of their people, both now and longer term, ensuring growth for themselves as well as enhancing their contribution to the Scottish economy.
Extending the Reach of Training
William Grant & Sons use bespoke eLearning as part of their corporate induction programme, to help new staff feel more connected to the company. We developed their eLearning to cover orientation on company policies, history and brands.
We also helped Devro transform a large amount of internal knowledge into eLearning content, ensuring a more consistent message across their business as well as delivering cost savings for the organisation. Being a global company, their eLearning needs to be effective in all locations where they operate, so we translated their content into multiple languages, extending the reach of the training.
Engaging, Accessible Learning
We’ve been pleased to work with the NHS Education for Scotland on a range of interesting and sometimes challenging topics including District Nurse CPD and Duty of Candour. Having worked on many learning projects with sensitive and technical content, we are reminded that every subject can be brought to life with good design and the right format, making the learning experience more engaging.
eCom has worked with NetRegs, a partnership between the Northern Ireland Environment Agency and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency over a number of years on resources to educate organisations on reducing their environmental impact. The recent focus has been to adapt and develop the resources using the latest design standards to improve accessibility and extend the life of the resources.
eLearning in the Third Sector
We continue to work with several Third sector organisations on their eLearning resources. In conjunction with The Scottish Association of Mental Health(SAMH), eCom developed training to help leisure staff and volunteers support those experiencing mental health challenges, since physical activity has been shown to have long-term physical and mental health benefits.
Innovative eLearning
eLearning in Scotland goes from strength to strength. The skills needed for today’s workplace are constantly evolving and eLearning has an important role to play in improving knowledge and changing behaviour. We’re delighted to partner with organisations across Scotland on innovative learning that helps them achieve their goals.
